Associate Professor, Pierre Kirstetter, Published by NASA

Associate Professor of the School of Meteorology, Pierre Kirstetter was recently published by NASA.

Dr. Pierre Kirstetter is not only an associate professor for the School of Meteorology, but also for the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science at the University of Oklahoma. He is a faculty member with Advanced Radar Research Center and an  affiliate of the National Severe Storms Laboratory here in Norman.

His research interests include radar and satellite remote sensing of precipitation, hydrometeorology, hydrology, severe weather, hydrologic hazard prediction with a focus on precipitation and related impacts, and the development of next-generation precipitation products.
