Lecturer/Research Scientist

The University of Oklahoma Norman Campus is currently seeking a full-time Lecturer/Research Scientist.
Job duties:
• Teach university-level Engineering courses and mentor students in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
• Conduct collaborative research in the Cooperative Institute for Severe and High-Impact Weather Research and Operations (CIWRO) in utilizing methods of Computational Electromagnetics for analysis of the radar antenna patterns and scattering by hydrometeors with complex shapes, and publish research findings

Required Qualifications
• A Doctoral Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

The incumbent will collaborate with NOAA’s National Severe Storms Laboratory’s Radar Research and Development Division, working in support of CIWRO and NSSL research missions and with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Supervision will be provided by CIWRO staff. Technical oversight will be provided by CIWRO staff and/or NSSL scientists. This is a non-supervisory position.
