Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for a talented photojournalist to shoot and edit news stories, conduct interviews and coordinate lives-shots with reporters. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable with video and editing equipment and have a creative vision for storytelling.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

— Operate field camera
— Ability to quickly edit
— Lighting knowledge
— Comfortable conducting interviews
— Cover breaking news, general assignments and feature stories
— Excellent communication skills to relay field information to the newsroom
— Operate live equipment


— Ability to story tell using video, utilizing natural sound and creative editing techniques
— Hands-on experience with editing software
— Able to conduct interviews to get information
— Must be able to lift/carry camera equipment ranging from 20lbs-25lbs.
— Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
— Good decision-making skills and news judgement
— Ability to represent the station professionally in the community and newsroom
