Research assistantship available in East Carolina University’s
Integrated Coastal Sciences (Coastal Resources Management) Ph.D. program

starting fall 2019.  This Ph.D. program provides a unique

interdisciplinary approach to the interpretation and synthesis of

scientific information on coastal environments and populations.  A

student is sought for a project supported by the NSF, where he or she

will contribute to the analysis of interannual rainfall variability

within the Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna river basin

Student must demonstrate the ability to work within a multidisciplinary

team of scientists from the U.S. and Bangladesh.  Knowledge of GIS and

spatiotemporal statistics is desired.  Student will receive competitive

assistantship, full-time tuition, and health insurance if selected.  A

Masters degree in Geography, Meteorology, or related discipline is
