Amanda Novak
Amanda is a senior Meteorology with math and computer science minors. She is originally from North Andover, MA. She is primarily interested in either radar meteorology or using data science techniques for weather-related problems. Amanda currently interns with the Radar Operations Center. She is also a shift leader for the Oklahoma Weather Lab, President of the Student Chapter of AMS & NWA and a 2019 Hollings Scholar. She chose meteorology at OU since she always wanted to go to a “big campus with a small campus feel” and the National Weather Center provides just that!
