Dr. Joseph Galewsky
Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque

Dr. Joseph Galewsky is an associate professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of New Mexico. He has a B.S. in Geophysics from Texas A&M University, and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of California Santa Cruz. After spending several years as a software engineer in the private sector, he returned to academia as a postdoctoral scientist in the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics at Columbia University. He has been on the faculty at the University of New Mexico since 2005.
