Senior Spotlight May 2021 – Tyler Pardun

This year we are continuing our tradition of Senior Spotlights! For everyone, 2020 and 2021 have been challenging years, but we want to highlight our amazing seniors for preserving through these difficult times.

Meet Tyler Pardun! He is from Lake Zurich, Illinois. Tyler’s love for meteorology is somewhat of a phenomenon to him, as he claims it hit him “overnight” as a 10-year-old.

His love of meteorology drew him to Norman, where he has spent the last four years getting involved in a variety of different organizations, including the Oklahoma Weather Lab and SCAN.

Tyler says the toughest part of college was finding the right time management skills.

After graduating this May, Tyler isn’t going anywhere! He is staying here in Norman to attain his Master’s degree by studying QLCS tornadoes!
