SoM Grad Student Margaret Hollis Wins “Outstanding Student Oral Presentation” in the Fourth Symposium on Tropical Meteorology and Tropical Cyclones

SoM grad student Margaret Hollis won ““Outstanding Student Oral Presentation” in the Fourth Symposium on Tropical Meteorology and Tropical Cyclones at the AMS Annual Meeting in January 2021 for her presentation “Comparing Characteristics of Tropical Easterly Waves in Various Regions.”

Her presentation discusses the lack of research and documentation on tropical easterly waves in a number of regions around the world. Her abstract, as well as video can be found here.
