Job Summary/Description:

KWCH/KSCW is looking for a dynamic storyteller Multimedia Journalist/Anchor to contribute to our on-air and social media platforms by telling compelling stories, responding to breaking news, and filling in on the anchor desk. This MMJ/anchor will also anchor live coverage and presentations on our OTT platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

– Ability to identify, write, shoot, edit, and present stories for broadcast and digital media.
– Must be knowledgeable of community issues and current events.
– Able to anchor live news coverage as it is happening on our OTT and/or broadcast platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Previous reporting or producing experience is preferred for this position
– Great communication skills are a must
– Ability to anchor live news coverage as it is happening
– Comfortable, confident, and competent live reporting/anchoring experience
– Strong news judgment
– A college degree in journalism, broadcasting or communication arts
