Job Summary/Description:

KWCH/KSCW is looking for a dynamic storyteller Multimedia Journalist/Anchor to contribute to our on-air and social media platforms by telling compelling stories, responding to breaking news, and filling in on the anchor desk. This MMJ/anchor will also anchor live coverage and presentations on our OTT platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

– Ability to identify, write, shoot, edit, and present stories for broadcast and digital media.– Must be knowledgeable of community issues and current events.– Able to anchor live news coverage as it is happening on our OTT and/or broadcast platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Previous reporting or producing experience is preferred for this position – Great communication skills are a must– Ability to anchor live news coverage as it is happening– Comfortable, confident, and competent live reporting/anchoring experience– Strong news judgment– A college degree in journalism, broadcasting or communication arts
