Ph.D. Assistantship

Ph.D. Assistantship available at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

This assistantship is available immediately and selected applicant will begin their program of study in the Fall 2019 semester, and complete a PhD. in Natural Resources Sciences degree with an Applied Climate Science specialty (e.g., Climate Assessment and Impacts or
Bio-Atmospheric Interactions).

$24,000 per year with health insurance and tuition waiver (student is
responsible for fees)

Start Date
August 1, 2019 (classes begin on August 26, 2019)

Exact topic of thesis research will be developed after consultation with
their advisor. However, it is expected that research may focus on
land-atmosphere interactions and climatological (and other related) data

M.S. in meteorology, geography, climate science, natural resources, or
closely related field. Previous programming background is not required,
however, past experience would be a plus for the student.
