Meteorology PhD Student Awarded for AMS Poster Presentation

Rachel Miller, a PhD student in the School of Meteorology, was awarded for her poster entitled, “Examining the Impacts of Assimilating Vertically Integrated Ice in WRF on Two Mesoscale Convective Systems from PECAN” at the 2022 American Meteorological Society Meeting.

She was recognized by the AMS Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting for her outstanding performance in presenting her poster, which explores her research surrounding nocturnal MCSs from the PECAN field campaign using the WRF model.
