Senior Spotlight May 2022 – Riley Bynum

It’s that time of year – we are continuing our tradition of Senior Spotlights! For everyone, the past few years have been quite difficult, but we want to highlight our amazing seniors for having the tenacity to succeed through these tough times.  

Meet Riley Bynum! He’s from Muldrow, Oklahoma, and he became interested in meteorology when he worked with his grandfather in an Emergency Management position. He traveled the short distance over to Norman and began his studies at OU. During his time here, Riley was a member of the Oklahoma Weather Lab (OWL). 

To him, the toughest part of college was his Atmospheric Dynamics classes, but college is more than just the difficult times!  His favorite part about his college experience was meeting new friends and studying the topics he loves.

After graduation in May, Riley plans to attend graduate school for Emergency Management and hopefully get a job with a municipality as an Emergency Manager.
