SoM Research Group Gave Fourteen Presentations over Summer 2022

The Multiscale data Assimilation and Predictability (MAP) group at the School of Meteorology gave fourteen presentations during the summer of 2022.

The topics include novel data assimilation methodology development, data assimilation research for high impact weather prediction, and research to operation transition.

Among the 14 talks, graduate student Erin Jones obtained the student travel award by the International Symposium on Data Assimilation.  Professor Xuguang Wang gave two invited talks at the AMS Summer Community meeting and the Unifying Innovations in Forecasting Capabilities Workshop.
