Two Meteorology Students Semifinalists in Broadcast Talent Competition
Meteorology majors and broadcast meteorology minors Marisa Nuzzo and Jordan Overton have been selected as semifinalists in the South Central Broadcasting Society talent reel competition! Nuzzo also advanced to be one of four finalists in the competition.
Jordan Overton Wins 2017 OBEA Award
In December, he submitted a video reel composed of footage from 2017 that showcases his best moments on air with OU Nightly. He was entered into the statewide competition in the TV-Personality category. The Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association awarded him 2nd place at a ceremony in Tulsa on April 19.
