Xu Lu wins AMS Travel Award

Xu Lu, a graduate student from the MAP (Multiscale data Assimilation and Predictability) group in the School of Meteorology, has received an AMS travel award! He will travel to the 21st Annual AMS Conference on Integrated Observing and Assimilation Systems for the Atmosphere, Oceans, and Land Surface (IOAS-AOLS). Student awards were given on the basis of best abstract or oral presentation. The conference is part of the American Meteorological Society’s 97th Annual Meeting, which will take place in Seattle, Washington January 22-26, 2017.
